The Whitacre College of Engineering Outreach Program is looking for volunteers to serve as judges for their biggest K-12 robotics competition, the West Texas FIRST Tech Challenge Regional Championship! Teams from Lubbock, Midland, Amarillo, El Paso, and more will compete to earn a spot at the FIRST World Championship! The event will take place on February 22nd at Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School. Judging time varies on the amount of judges present at competition.
Judges interview teams and observe robot matches to help award teams in different categories, including programming, robot design, marketing, outreach, business, and more! Robotics experience is not required! Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and other swag items will be provided!
