Our research team funded by the Gulf Research Program is seeking two experienced mobile app developers (iOS and/or Android) to assist with developing a novel mobile app for safety. These paid positions will support our research team in programming, designing, and testing the mobile app.
Hours:
· Part-time beginning immediately
· Expected to work 10-20 hours per week
· Can be paid up to $20/hour (depending on the skill level)
· Project period: Spring 2025 - Fall 2026
Responsibilities:
· Build wireframe models and write codes to design a new mobile app.
· Create and maintain a mobile app for iOS and Android platforms.
· Collaborate with research team members (faculty and students) and external partners to deliver a high-quality app.
· Optimize a mobile app for performance, usability, and security.
· Troubleshoot and resolve app-related issues and bugs.
· Ensure apps meet App Store and Google Play Store guidelines
Qualifications:
· Previous experience working on mobile app development (evidenced by product/design portfolio).
· Knowledge and proficiency with programming languages for mobile app design.
