Texas Tech University’s School of Theatre & Dance, housed within the J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual and Performing Arts, presents THE GHOST PROJECT.
Led by Dr. Christopher Staley and guest artist Katherine Wilkinson, and imagined by theatre and dance students participating in the 2024 Marfa Intensive, this devised performance explores ideas of “Theatre as Memory Machine” and “Hauntology.” The Ghost Project invokes not only spooky stories of the paranormal, but also ideas of memory, nostalgia, the endurability of human relationships, and the memory held by spaces and places.
Public performances are February 6-16 in the School of Theatre & Dance Complex located at 2812 18th St.
Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday – Saturday and 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
