Through the film series, attendees will also gain knowledge about various heritage celebrations, historic events, and current trends in health care. They will also receive insight into the customs, culture, and history of other countries and people.

Film Synopsis:
Filmed and edited in intimate vérité style, this movie follows visionary medical practitioners who are working on the cutting edge of life and death and are dedicated to changing our thinking about both.
This poignant documentary by Rod Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman follows the lives of people with terminal illnesses in San Francisco, California. Each one is consulted by hospital staff to try a new way of dealing with their situation. This film shows non-traditional methods, separating it from a traditional hospice situation.
